Matt's Incredible 12.5-Hour Tyre Flip Raises £1,632 for Children's Charity
By Jill Dando News
Matt Hill has accomplished an extraordinary 12.5-hour tyre-flip challenge, raising £1,632.25 for Variety, a local children’s charity.
The money raised will go towards funding a new Sunshine Coach minibus, which will make a significant difference to the lives of the disabled and disadvantaged children supported by the charity.
The event took place at Whitchurch Aerodrome in Bristol.
The furthest distance anyone had previously achieved was 11.21 km with a 105kg tyre, a record Matt was determined to beat. However, due to a back injury, he was forced to stop after 12.5 hours.
Despite this, Matt’s efforts raised a substantial amount for the charity.
The gruelling challenge saw Matt flip a massive 100kg tyre for over half a day. The event was made even more special by the involvement of his young nephew, who was pictured lending a helping hand throughout the day.
Matt’s dedication to this challenge has been hailed as a remarkable display of community spirit, and his achievement will help bring much-needed joy and opportunities to children across the region.
