Marvin and more thanked after 80’s Charity Night

They say a golden key for happiness is gratitude – the power of giving thanks.
The Donate For Defib Weston-super-Mare Project team in Somerset have been giving thanks galore after their 80's Charity Night at Tropicana Weston to raise funds for publicly accessible defibrillators, through Donate For Defib WsM Project.
Marvin Muoneké was among those thanked. Marvin is a gifted jazz singer-songwriter, arranger and performing/recording artist with a bass-baritone voice has often been referred to as rich, deep and smooth.
He brings the songs and sounds of mid-20th century jazz to modern listeners of all ages, and he possesses a rare and beautiful presence that can light up any audience of any venue within seconds.
Marvin donated three raffle prizes, including two CDs and a signed photograph.
A spokesperson said: “We want to say a big thank you to all the people who supported this event and helped make it a success, including a number of individuals and also various organisations.
“Thank you to Marvin Muoneké - Singer who came to the Tropicana to donate 3 raffle prizes for the raffle that was being held in the evening at the event, this included 2 CDs and also a signed photograph of Marvin.
“A big thank you to@Andy Myers Wedding and Event DJ who provided the fantastic music for the event that got everyone dancing from the start to finish of the event.
“To The Mayor of Weston-super-Mare, Deputy Mayor - Cllr Martin Williams who attended to support the event and we look forward to working with him in the future to raise further awareness.
“Thank you to Dakota Group who provided Security & Medical Cover in a voluntary capacity for the event without them this event would not have been able to go ahead.
“To the The Bay Cafe Staff who worked late to provide refreshments for the people at the event and gave everyone such a warm welcome.
“To the staff from the@Tropicana Weston who assisted the Donate For Defib WsM Project in organising the event and our photographer Peter for the fantastic photos he took. Also a huge thanks to JD3DP who donated raffle prizes and also had items on for purchase of our merchandise.
“The Donate For Defib Weston-super-Mare, Senior Management team would also like to thank all the team members involved in the preparation of the event and making it a huge success!
“We are grateful for everyone who attended and made the event such an 80's celebration of great music and from a fantastic era!“
