Local MP praises successful Breast Cancer Now fundraising

The Ascot Group hosted a delightful Afternoon Tea event raising an impressive £440 for the charity Breast Cancer Now. 

The charity fundraiser, held at the company's offices, saw employees and community come together to support the amazing charity.

People enjoyed a spread of delicious cakes while staff members also baked several impressive creations for visitors to purchase.

The event was part of Breast Cancer Now's wider campaign encouraging individuals and organizations to host tea parties and bake sales to raise funds for breast cancer research and support.

Weston-super-Mare MP Dan Aldridge, who attended the event, praised the initiative, saying, "This was a fabulous event in aid of a tremendous cause.

The Ascot Group's Afternoon Tea fundraiser not only raised a significant amount for Breast Cancer Now but also helped raise awareness about breast cancer.”

Ascot Group CEO Andrew Scott said: “We're thrilled with the turnout and the amount raised. It was a wonderful afternoon. The Ascot Group passionately supports charity and community.”

Breast Cancer Now continues to encourage individuals and organizations to sign up and host their own Afternoon Tea events.
