THEY DID IT!

In an inspiring show of determination and community spirit, Jake and Kirsty from Ashley Leahy Estate Agents have crossed the finish line of the 2025 Bath Half Marathon—raising crucial funds for the Donate For Defib Weston-super-Mare Project.

Their efforts are helping to bring vital, life-saving equipment to the heart of the community.

Donning their running gear and a whole lot of heart, the dynamic duo hit the tarmac with one clear goal: to raise enough money to fund a new defibrillator for Weston-super-Mare.

And they didn’t just meet that goal—they smashed it!

Their incredible fundraising success means that a brand-new defibrillator will now be installed at the Old Thatched Cottage along Weston’s iconic seafront.

A vital resource in medical emergencies, this new device could be the difference between life and death for someone in need.

To honour their achievement, Jake and Kirsty were presented with a special award this morning, surrounded by applause and gratitude from the Donate For Defib team and local supporters.

“We were over the moon to cheer them on every step of the way,” said a representative from the campaign. “Their dedication shows just how powerful community action can be.”

But Jake and Kirsty’s run is just one chapter in a larger story. The Donate For Defib project continues its mission to place defibrillators in accessible public locations across Weston-super-Mare and beyond.

Want to get involved? You can help place a defibrillator in your chosen local area. Donations remain open—and you could be the reason someone survives tomorrow.
