Jake, 9, invents machine to fling ping pong balls 32 feet

Little Jake Dallow won first prize in his school’s science competition with his innovative ‘Ping Pong Punisher’ invention.

The innovative youngster is a pupil at Barton Hill Academy, one of Britain’s most successful primary schools.

Jake, who wants to be a marine biologist when he is older, said: “I won because I was creative and was able to combine forces to engineering and creative forces.”
