New Motivational Talks from Award-Winning Journalist’s 30-Year Happiness Investigation
After a 30-year journey as an award-winning journalist, Shane Dean is now sharing his insights on happiness and purpose through his Good News Tonic talks.
The inspirational talks are aimed at encouraging people to live life to the full and boosting workplace morale.
A former political and education correspondent and now an inspirational keynote speaker, Shane has been uplifting audiences since 2003.
Over the course of his career, he has explored the depths of mental health challenges and the resilience, habits and mindsets needed to overcome them.
Today, his Good News Tonic talks address the rising mental health struggles and productivity challenges that many face, bringing huge takeaways including enthusiasm, encouragement and purpose.
Shane’s passion for this message began with his own experience.
As a teenager, he grappled with severe mental health issues until he discovered the power of positive thinking, which led him to a journalism career at age 21.
Now, he is dedicated to helping others find fulfillment and enthusiasm in both life and work.
“These talks are filled with actionable tips and encouragement for people from all walks of life,” Shane says.
“I’m passionate about showing people how to embrace life with purpose and positivity.”
His talks are ideal for team-building events, leadership workshops, conferences, and training sessions, helping teams to:
• Become positive, productive, and profitable
• Be confident, enthusiastic, and world-class team players
• Build passionate, purpose-driven, and happy workplaces.
In 2016, Shane launched The Good News Post, a UK-based online newspaper that shares regular Tonic Tips to uplift readers’ minds, bodies, and spirits.
His Good News Tonic talks are a unique blend of the latest science, inspiring personal stories, and wisdom from figures like Ted Lasso, calm-focused monks, and Nelson Mandela.
Andrew Scott, CEO of the Ascot Group, shares, “I have worked with some of the best speakers in the world, but I’ve never met anyone with more authenticity, passion, and the ability to truly inspire than Shane Dean.
“He motivates our 100+ staff, including management and leadership teams, with content that fuels growth and morale.”
Helen da Costa of the Coreus Group reflects,
