Incredible Ellie heading for England rugby stardom after Somerset call up in just her second year of playing the sport

Ellie Pearce, 15, of Robert Blake Science College, represented Somerset county girls at the start of what looks like a brilliant career.
Remarkably she only started playing the game last year.
She is also a Sports Leader at the school, helping with many primary sports festivals, and has also coached youngsters in gymnastics, trampolining and other sports.
Ellie said: “I would love to be a professional and play for England. I will give it all that I have got.”
Headteacher Deb Loveridge said: “What a phenomenal achievement! I am delighted for Ellie. She should rightly be proud of her success.”
Robert Blake has had two record-breaking GCSE years, amazing increases in Progress 8 statistics and has one of the best school buildings in Britain.
