The Wealth Summit in Devon, UK raised the funds for the well in Uganda.
In recent months Uganda is suffering huge droughts leading to hundreds of deaths.
In June the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) said at least 518,000 people, or 40% of the region's population, were facing high levels of food insecurity.
Uganda community leader and Director of charity God In Action, praised the business people gathering in Devon.
Mandela Salim Buluma said: “Over the past 48 hours, we have experienced an incredible turn of events following the release of a video three days ago, in which we highlighted the urgent need for a water well on our farm.
“The recent hot weather has posed challenges for our crop growth, underscoring the necessity for reliable water sources on our farm.
“The anticipated impact of this development is promising, as it will significantly enhance our farm's productivity by enabling year-round crop cultivation through effective irrigation.
“Thank you very much for the donations, love and support towards our vision.”
Motivational speaker Peter Cohen, one of the host of the event who helped highlight the need for the well, said: “It's amazing what we've achieved in 48 hours.
“When people come together in love and wanting to support people and especially to help children, magic can really happen.”
