On a balmy June evening, I found myself at Wembley Stadium, surrounded by a sea of Green Day fans, eagerly awaiting the legendary punk rock band's performance.

Having loved Green Day since I was 12, seeing them live was a dream come true. The atmosphere was electric, and the anticipation was palpable.

But prior to the main event, we were graced by the legend we Green day fans know as punk bunny to get us rared up. I mean I've been to a lot of concerts, from muse to blur to gary numan, in the space of five years, which have all bought their own unique stamp to the concerts, but it was pretty awesome to get hyped for a concert with a pink bunny, not to mention sing a rendition of bohemian rhapsody with 70,000 other people in the stadium.

Green Day opened with "The American Dream is Killing Me," setting an exhilarating tone for the night. They played full renditions of their iconic albums "Dookie" and "American Idiot," mixed with newer songs like "Bobby Sox" and more.

Hearing classics like "Basket Case" and "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" live was surreal and incredibly moving.

Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tré Cool were at their best, with Armstrong's dynamic stage presence making the massive stadium feel intimate. Armstrong's genuine care for fans was heartwarming; he stopped songs several times to ensure everyone was okay, showing his deep concern for our well-being.

These moments of connection added a special warmth to the high-energy performance.

The concert concluded with "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)," a poignant end to an unforgettable night. The sight of phone lights and lighters illuminating the stadium created a magical atmosphere of unity and reflection.

Green Day's performance at Wembley was legendary, a perfect blend of nostalgic hits and fresh material. As the final notes echoed and fireworks lit up the night sky, I felt incredibly blessed to be part of this musical journey.

My love for music and Green Day has only deepened, and this night will remain etched in my memory forever.
