Over the past months, people’s lives all across the world have been halted and slashed subsequent to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The return of football in mid June turned out to be the injection of hope needed for much of the nation, and despite the hits to the economy, teams have gone out and strengthened - only adding to the enjoyment of the millions watching.

A notable example is the return of Gareth Bale. As well as being one of the most exciting players in world football, Bale has donated almost £1 million to health services in Spain and England over the course of the pandemic.

Other big name stars to the premier league include: James Rodriguez, Thiago Alcantara, Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.

At a time of such doom and gloom, these big name stars arriving in the English premier league are bound to give people that boost in morale needed.

As a result of these introductions, the Premier League is set for one of the most exciting campaigns in years and there has never been a more appropriate time.

After a long time without fans, there are now plans to trial having small numbers of people back at stadiums.

For a lot of supporters, going to matches is one of the highlights of their week and these plans are only going to further heighten the hopefulness of millions across the country.
