Generous Indian takeaway feeds yet more in schools

By Jill Dando News

A big hearted Indian takeaway has delivered more free curry lunches to schools across a town.

St Anne’s Church Academy is the latest beneficiary of the incredibly kind delivery from Pappadoms in Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset.

Principal Emma Hardy Smith said: “We were all thrilled to receive curry this lunchtime – we really appreciate the thoughtfulness and generosity of Pappadoms.”

Pappadoms had asked parents in Weston-super-Mare to nominate their school, which parents did in big numbers across the community.

The takeaway also gave food to other schools across the town including Worle Community School Academy and Priory Community School Academy.

St Anne’s Church Academy is a high achieving and happy caring school, and is the first school in North Somerset to receive the highly prized Social School Award.

It is part of The Priory Learning Trust.
