A free community event extravaganza with breakfast, laser tag, skateboarding, craft stalls and a Remembrance Service will be held on Saturday.
Priory Community School Academy in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset will host the ‘Community Event’ on Saturday 12th November from 9am till 12noon.
There will be a free breakfast, laser tag and skateboarding, gift and food stalls, craft activities and much more.
A remembrance service will also be held at 11am, following on from last year when 420 trees were planted at the school to remember the past and look to the future.
The academy will continue to build its Garden of Remembrance with a space for the community to honour their loved ones who died during conflict.
There is no need for people to book for the event - people can just turn up.
Principal Angelos Markoutsas said: “We are all thrilled to open up our school to the entire community with this free, fun ‘Community Event’.
“Through the remembrance ceremony, and following the successful event we did last year, we are wanting to continue to build our Garden of Remembrance and create a space for the community to honor loved ones who have lost their lives in conflict. Everyone is welcome.”
