Former TV Presenter Launches Global 'Intentional Health and Wellbeing' Mission After Tragic Death Of His Wife

Pete Cohen, a well-known figure from British television in the early 2000s, has embarked on a worldwide speaking tour with a powerful message of hope and resilience.

His mission: to help people achieve "100% wellbeing intentionally" in the face of life's most challenging moments.

Pete’s journey to becoming an advocate for intentional wellbeing was born from profound personal loss. In a span of a few short years, he lost both his parents.

Then, last year, his wife Hannah succumbed to cancer at the age of 39 after a grueling 13-year battle.

He now wants to help people live healthier intentionally and to prevent cancer and thrive in every way for a full life.

"She was the love of my life, and her death was horrific to watch," Pete said. "Encouraging her every day, living through that trauma of seeing the love of your life die has been the hardest thing I have ever had to do.

“I have to really work on dealing with the trauma of watching her for all that time.

“They were very dark times and I didn’t realise how much it affected me.”

At the ending of Hannah’s life and in the aftermath of her passing, Pete found himself struggling with his own health.

He turned to comfort eating, indulging in junk food, chocolate, and foods he did not normally eat.

This coping mechanism led him to the brink of pre-diabetes.

It was his late wife's motto – "just get on with it" – that ultimately spurred Peter to action.

“I never wanted to marry or have children but Hannah changed all that - I loved her so much.”

Overnight, he decided to turn his life and wellbeing around, transforming his personal tragedy into a mission to help others.

Now, Pete is taking his message of "Intentional Wellbeing" to venues worldwide. His speaking tour includes stops in Sardinia, France, New Zealand, Athens, and Malaysia, among others.

"My past 13 years with Hannah has made me a completely new person," Pete explained. "

After months of really coping through eating chocolate, I was on the verge of diabetes. I heard Hannah's motto again, which spurred me on to now help millions everywhere to live a fabulous life of health, wellness, in mind, body, and soul."

Pete’s background is diverse and impressive. He was a familiar face on GMTV, BBC, and Channel 4 throughout the early 2000s.

His expertise extended beyond television, as he mentored high-profile sportspeople, including snooker champion Ronnie O'Sullivan and members of the Arsenal football team, helping them achieve better performances. Cohen is also the author of 20 books.

He already had a reputation as one of the best motivational speakers.

Pete’s recent experiences have given him an entirely new "toolkit" to help people overcome life's difficulties and thrive intentionally.

“I was a fraud in my previous books but unintentionally. Now I am a kinder, more humble, compassionate person. I am determined to use my trauma, and the memory of Hannah to share our story and then give a toolkit of hope and encouragement to people all over the world. Hannah’s memory and amazing character is driving me on.

“I want the whole world to know her name and her motto ‘just get on with it.

“I also want to tell people about the other treatments for cancer that are available.”

He added: “I’m passionate to help people be intentional about their wellbeing and to become the best future person they can be, through the power of gratitude and so many more things they can do intentionally.”

As he continues his global speaking tour, Pete is also planning new books, a podcast, and other projects to reach millions with his message of encouragement and wisdom.

Pete is also an ambassador for the Coco’s foundation that feeds millions of children in South Africa.
