The St Anne’s Church Academy pupils in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset are having an extravaganza of Christmas fun in December.

They hosted their virtual Christmas Fair which was a massive hit with the whole community.

The pupils recorded Christmas carols to share with care home residents,

And teaching assistant Jo Adlam (pictured) has been taking presents to Every Child Needs Christmas, which donates thousands of presents to children in need across the town.

Principal Emma Hardy Smith has also been sharing an advent calendar of christmas messages from pupils to spread joy from children on Twitter and Facebook.

She said: “This is a terrific end to the year. There is a real Christmas feel and excitement in the air. We were especially delighted to be able to donate so many gifts to the excellent charity Every Child Needs Christmas.”

The academy is part of The Priory Learning Trust and also has a successful Little Learners nursery.
