Families are being invited to view the ambitious Worle Community School Academy in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset at their latest Into the Light event.

The tour on Thursday 22nd April will give an open air insight into school life.

There will also be a chance to view their excellent campus facilities, including the £400,000 auditorium and sports hall improvements.

Prospective pupils, parents and carers can have guided tours between 4pm and 7pm.

The academy has an excellent and wide-ranging curriculum. It also has Weston’s largest performing arts stage and strong mental health provision.

Last autumn they had three highly popular Into the Light events and parental demand has prompted another one after Easter.

“So many wonderful things are happening at our academy...”

Principal Jacqui Scott

Principal Jacqui Scott said: “It was so good to meet so many students, parents, carers and families in the autumn and we look forward to meeting more next month.

“So many wonderful things are happening at our academy and we look forward to sharing this with our community.”

The WCSA motto is ‘We Challenge and Support to Achieve’, resulting in students who thrive in all areas.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, the usual “open evening” annual events are not possible which has prompted the special events.

The academy has a high-achieving and caring ethos. It aims to challenge and support to encourage all students to achieve.
