In a joyful early celebration of spring, the popular North Somerset Zoo and conservation charity, Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm, is delighted to announce the birth of newborn Dorset lambs, signalling the onset of lambing season.

Last year, the zoo named its lambs after sweets and chocolate, with names like Curly, Wurly and Wispa.

An annual theme has become a tradition, and this year, the zoo is setting its sights on a more savoury option…crisps.

Dorset lambs, renowned for their distinctive appearance with a white woolly coat and friendly demeanour, have arrived at Noah's Ark.

This breed is celebrated for its adaptability to various climates and its high-quality, fine-textured wool. As the unmistakable signs of spring begin to unfold, these newborns bring the excitement of new life to the Zoo.

As lambs find their footing in the zoo, we say hello to a new season. Noah’s Ark encourages visitors to drop in and say hello to twins Nik and Nak, as well as the other lambs that are frolicking around the farm barn. Their current Kids Go Free* Offer is the perfect chance for families to meet Nik and Nak! You’d have to be baa-my to miss it!
