Could this be Britain’s best seaside restaurant with live music and a heavenly coconut flat white to match?

Review by The Editor

Their website says it all, but a visit to Revo Kitchen and Terrace in Weston-super-Mare in Somerset, England has to be experienced to be believed.

They offer a relaxed environment with breath-taking 180-degree views across the coastline and beyond.

It is one of the most relaxing environments you could enjoy.

With a  comfortable setting for people to enjoy live music, great coffee and impressive food – this is most definitely a go-to place to catch up with friends, organise a work meeting, go for solo brunch and more.

I tried the out-of-this-world coconut flat white. As a seasoned coconut flat-white drinker, I’ve tried bucketloads.

Not quite sure how they did it but it really was sensational.

Their Baristas have mastered the art of this superb beverage. They use a premium coconut milk that is velvety smooth and naturally sweet without being overpowering.

The milk is steamed to perfection, creating a luscious microfoam to contrast the bold espresso.

Then the cakes. Freshly baked on site every day, they were…. heavenly.

You can almost taste them with your eyes, so after taking a good long look, I chose the vanilla cheesecake with fresh blueberries and strawberries on top.

Wow!

If you want more, their menus include some classic favourites as well as a few Revo special offerings.

From Brunch to Dinner and coffee to cocktails, there is something for everyone at Revo.

The combination of casual dining and comfortable lounge seating, means that no matter what the occasion, Revo can provide the perfect environment.

There is also a wide range of live music. From Indie Pop to Smooth Jazz, their performers cover a wide range of music genres including the world-leading performances of Marvin. (Pictured below) Visit revokitchen.com/live

What is more, they have a beach facing terrace complete with modern fire pit tables, which will keep you warm during the colder months.

In the same building as Revo Kitchen, they also have Revo Glo Golf, a 9-hole UV themed golf course with a fully licensed bar.

This spot is ideal for many an occasion, ranging from a family day out, date nights to rainy day activities.

Their website says: “From big comfy sofas and armchairs to a mix match of dining tables, our vision is for Revo to feel like your home from home, where you can find students with an espresso, work colleagues having a brunch meeting, a group of friends enjoying cocktails or a family having cakes and smoothies.
“We are a dog friendly environment inside and out, relax in comfort with us with your entire family, not leaving your furry friends behind.”

Back to the flat white. At £3 a cup, this drink is an affordable indulgence, especially given the caliber of ingredients and craftsmanship.

Whether you’re plant-based or just a coconut connoisseur, this is worthy beverage pilgrimage for any coffee lover in Britain. Could this be the best seaside restaurant and coconut flat white? I would say – absolutely.
