Brilliant big hearted pupils, staff, carers and parents have purchased a new £1700 defibrillator after excellent fundraising

By Jill Dando News

Mendip Green Primary School pupils and families raised nearly £1000 to go with the donation of £800.

Last term the school had a special fundraising day to raise money for a defibrillator for the school.

Thousands of people come on their premises every day and the school thought it would be wise and beneficial to the community to have a defibrillator on site.  They approached a number of charities to get one for the school but were turned down – so they decided to fundraising themselves.

A spokesperson for the school said: “They managed to raise enough to get the defibrillator including receiving an incredibly generous donation from a local business, GC Garden Renovations.” https://www.mendipgreen.co.uk
