Woodfired pizza, tea, cake, music dancing, a bouncy castle and pop up bar are some of the attractions on offer on this Monday’s Bank Holiday fun day.
Mark your calendars for what promises to be a fantastic event at Nailsea Holy Trinity Church, North Somerset, near Bristol starting at 1pm,
The event will be a celebration of Wellspring Mental Health Charity's 30th anniversary, with proceeds going towards supporting their important work in the community.
One of the highlights will be daring abseiling adventures down the tower, which has already raised over £2,000 for Wellspring Counselling through sponsorships.
Those who haven't donated yet are encouraged to consider contributing via JustGiving, as the Rev Ted Baines Charity has generously offered to match fund sponsorships for the youth participants.
In addition to the adrenaline-pumping abseils, attendees can look forward to a fun-filled day of family activities and entertainment.
The organisers promise an unforgettable experience while raising funds and awareness for the vital mental health services provided by Wellspring.
Don't miss this opportunity to come together as a community, celebrate an important milestone, and support a worthy cause.
Make sure to mark your calendars for the Bank Holiday Fun Day on May 27th, starting at 1 pm.
Chair of Trustees Dr Mary Backhouse who was one of the original founders of Wellspring in 1990, before it was established properly in 1994, said: “Over the last 30 years, it has grown from a small locally trained service to a professional counselling service serving young people from the age of 11-18 and adults.
“Under our current Director, Wendy Griffin, the service has expanded to cover the whole of North Somerset. The need for mental health support has never been greater and it is good seeing so many people getting support.
“As one previous client said to us recently, “I would not be alive now if it was not for the support I had from Wellspring. Services like Wellspring are vital for the local community.”
