Award for friendly and ambitious primary school

Jubilant Woolavington Village Primary School pupils and staff are celebrating after they won a prestigious award

They won the ‘New to Apprenticeships’ award at the recent Somerset Apprenticeship Awards 2020 after taking on five fantastic apprentices last September.

Pupils at the small, friendly and ambitious Somerset school have been celebrating the award.

Head of School Georgina Maclennan said: “We are absolutely thrilled to win this award and there has been a buzz across the school.

“We are new to the Apprenticeship scheme – we want to offer local training and employment while developing core staffing qualities within our dedicated team.”
