Three seemingly outrageous stories published recently have been confirmed as April Fools' Day pranks.

While our readers were momentarily convinced, we can now reveal that these tales were nothing more than light-hearted hoaxes. At the Good News Post, we're not only committed to sharing positive news but part of our core mission is to cheer people up during these often difficult days.

Sometimes that means having a little fun!

1 The Bronze Statue of Vicars Outside Parliament

A story claimed that a bronze statue of a group of vicars would soon be installed outside the Houses of Parliament. However, the tale was fabricated.

2 Clevedon School's Toothbrushing Revolution

A report about Clevedon School introducing a new mandatory school-wide toothbrushing session during lunchtime caught many off guard.
The supposed initiative aimed at promoting dental hygiene to tackle national concerns about oral health. Also not true.

3 Donkey Surfing at Weston Pier

And who could forget the hilarious claim that donkeys at Weston Pier had been trained to surf? According to the prank, these talented donkeys would soon be part of a new seaside attraction. This absurd idea was meant to amuse and highlight the growing trend of unconventional entertainment in the UK.

As April 1st has passed, we can all share a laugh at these far-fetched stories and hope everyone enjoyed the playful spirit of these pranks.
