Andrew Scott, CEO of the Ascot Group, has been appointed to the prestigious Forbes Business Council.
As a vetted professional organisation that allows only a select few to become members, this is an incredible achievement for Andrew who, for the last 30 years, has demonstrated an unwavering passion, commitment and drive as a business founder and owner.
Being a part of the Forbes Business Council will create the perfect opportunity for Andrew to connect with like-minded entrepreneurs as well as share his knowledge and experience to inspire executive leaders with similar ambitions.
The Irish-born entrepreneur launched the Ascot Group in 2004 and today employees 80 staff across the business – which provides marketing, data and tech solutions to the construction industry.
He also oversees a property development group and was the founder and current chair of Business Leader, the high profile media and events company that was acquired in 2023 by Richard Harpin – the business tycoon who sold Homeserve PLC for £4.3 bn.
Discussing his appointment, Andrew said: “I have always admired the Forbes ethos of bringing together an exclusive group of respected global business leaders and entrepreneurs to connect, share knowledge and develop new thinking.
“I’m looking forward to forging new relationships on the international scene as well as sharing my insights and business experience through Forbes Magazine.”
Andrew has previously been presented with the ‘Director of the Year’ Award for Corporate Social Responsibility by the Institute of Directors.
