An 11 year old is on course for a superb Olympic swimming career after scintillating early success
The brilliant Aden Morrissey of Robert Blake Science College has qualified for the Somerset ASA County Championships 2020 in the 50, 100 and 200 Freestyle.
Aden and his team also won Silver in the latest relay races.
It was his latest successes of many over the years since he started his swimming career.
Aden, who swims for Taunton Deane Swimming Club, trains Monday to Friday for an hour and a half, and has a two hour session on Thursdays.
Robert Blake is a school that is passionate about sports and has lots of keen swimmers who are competing at high levels.
Head Teacher Deb Loveridge said: “We are so proud of Aden - this is a tremendous achievement and especially for one so young. He has a bright future ahead of him.”
