Amazing volunteers run 5k to save lives (By Evie, 12)

Amazing volunteers are saving lives by running 5K to help an amazing charity.
They will run Race for Life in Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset on the Seafront Beach near the world famous Grand Pier and Revo Kitchen and Terrace.
Since 1994, 10 million people have taken part all together and have raised over £970 million towards life changing research since it began 30 years ago.

Evie, 12, said: “With the money which has been raised so far, it’s helped to develop radiotherapy which has helped over 130,000+ people with cancer in the UK every year which is absolutely incredible; it’s life changing to so many people!
“We are so thankful for absolutely everybody who has put towards Cancer Research and to everyone taking part in the race.”
