Worle Community School Academy in Weston-super-Mare Somerset buzzed with excitement as Year 10 students showcased their professional skills during an exhilarating Mock Interview Day.
The event, designed to prepare young people for the future dream career, saw an impressive turnout of enthusiastic local employers eager to engage with the next generation of talent.
Students had diligently prepared impressive CVs with the support of their families and tutors, and faced their mock interviewers with confidence and poise.
The employers were visibly impressed by the caliber of the young candidates, awarding certificates to those who particularly stood out.
The day reached its crescendo with two inspirational sessions.
Vanessa Boyce from ASKApprenticeships captivated the audience with a comprehensive step-by-step guide to apprenticeships, opening students' eyes to alternative career paths.
The event then culminated in a powerful motivational talk by Junior Saunders, who worked his magic on the crowd with a dynamic presentation on Growth Mindset.
Saunders challenged the students to embrace their authentic selves and step boldly out of their comfort zones, leaving them energized and ready to take on future challenges.
A school spokesperson said: “A massive thank you to everyone that helped make this brilliant event happen!”
