Amazing Life-Saving Project Gains Global Support

By Community Correspondent
The Donate For Defib Weston-super-Mare initiative has received a heartwarming show of support from across the globe, this time from a familiar face—Josh Bell’s former headteacher, Peter Turner, of Ashcombe Primary School in Somerset.
Now living in Colombia, Mr. Turner made a special trip back to the UK, where he met Josh for a coffee at Revo on Thursday.
Josh, project lead for Donate for Defrib, shared his excitement, saying, "Meeting Mr. Turner was an experience I never thought would happen, but one I will never forget! He was a huge influence during my childhood, someone I looked up to and still do. To now have his support for Donate For Defib W-s-M is truly incredible!"
During the reunion, Mr. Turner had the opportunity to see one of the project's life-saving defibrillators along the Weston-super-Mare seafront, which has already been used over 12 times in emergencies.
Mr. Turner expressed his amazement at the progress and impact of the project, which is making a real difference in saving lives.
With continued global backing and local support, the Donate For Defib W-s-M project is well on its way to achieving its life-saving goals.
A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Turner for his encouragement, and we wish him safe travels as he heads back to Colombia.
