127 Drama and English students from Priory Community School Academy (PCSA) enjoyed an outstanding performance at The Playhouse, Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset.

Having studied Willy Russell's notorious play 'Blood Brothers' for their GCSE course, a theatre full of 14 and 15 year old faces were entranced by the highly acclaimed and award winning production which brought to life the lines they know so well - both funny and poignant.

Set in 1980s Liverpool, the play highlights the struggles of the working class through a moving story of twins separated at birth.

One student remarked 'I loved Linda! She gave so much energy and there was a great vibe between her and Mickey'.

Another loved the relationship between Mickey and Eddie, the protagonists. 'I can't wait to meet Mickey!' one exclaimed, looking forward to Friday when students will have the chance to meet the actor at their school, PCSA.
