by Abigail Robbins

Worle Community School students Naomi Blowers, 16, has produced her first album of classical musical theatre songs.

The big dream is for her to use her talents to help people through music therapy.

She started her private singing lessons after being gifted £200 from an award she received at Worle Community School.  Her growing list of qualifications include Grade 5 Classical Singing and Grade 5 Musical Theatre, both of which with a distinction, and she has an apprenticeship with Bristol Choral Society.

Naomi said: “I don’t think of my voice as a talent for myself – it is a gift to help others.”

Principal Jacqui Scott said: “Naomi is an absolute inspiration and is passionate about helping people through her music. Well done.”
