London actor walks back to Somerset to help the homeless

Former The King Alfred School Academy student, and successful West End actor, Edward James has completed his inspirational walk from London to Burnham-on-Sea to raise money for charity.

He has raised over £1000 for the brilliant charity Shelter.

The walk took eight days and he celebrated with family and friends at the end in Burnham.

He said: “This was the toughest thing I have ever done in my life, but it’s nothing compared to those who live rough on a daily basis.”

Edward’s career so far has seen him work across the world and he is ambitious to be in a blockbuster Hollywood film – that he would like to come home and watch at Burnham’s cinema.
