A well-loved Weston-super-Mare dental clinic in Somerset is expanding its team and services to help more people struggling to access dental care amid the UK’s growing NHS crisis.

DentalSpa25, run by husband-and-wife team Ronald and Gloria, is celebrating 20 years of transforming smiles—and easing fears.

After moving from South Africa, where dental standards are among the world’s highest, the pair set out to create a gentler, friendlier dental experience.

Now, as millions struggle to get NHS appointments, the clinic is stepping up and expanding to help the demand.

“We’re seeing more and more people who are in pain or simply too anxious to go elsewhere,” says Gloria.  “So we’ve expanded to offer more private appointments and support patients who feel left behind.”

The team is known for their calming, compassionate approach—helping even the most nervous patients feel at ease. And with nearly 100 near five-star reviews, the word is clearly out.

“We want people to know that gentle, expert care is still out there,” adds Ronald. “No pressure, no judgement—just real help when you need it.”

Ronald and Gloria opened their own private practice in 2008 away from the NHS so they could have more time and freedom to listen to patients.

Gloria said: “We were eager to get enough time to get to the root of our patient’s problem and to implement we had learned in dental school. This means we could help patients even more without the huge time pressure being put on NHS dentists by the corporates.”
